Playing Hard To Get

There are going to be times when we look at the state of our breakup and think that the best way to get back with our exs is to play hard to get.  The question is, does it work?

Well firstly, understand what it is you’re doing, when you play hard to get.  You’re actually creating mystery and exoticism.  And we all love anything that appears out of reach to us and anything that is intriguing.  This is what we are saying about ourselves when we start playing hard to get game.

And that is not always a bad situation to be in.  Most things that are hard to get have a high stock value.  It follows then that if you’re, hard to get, that your stock will immediately rise.  Whereas if we make ourselves readily available: always on the end of the phone, needy and clingy, then generally that is seen as not worth very much and for that reason, is easily abused.

Does it work?  Well it can do – that’s why the NC or No Contact  phase in any breakup is so vital.  As you live by the “NC” rule, to your ex, your stock is rising in value.  You might not initially feel the value of NC as you sit home alone and desperately fighting your urge to make contact with your ex but your stock is rising.  Trust me it is!

So yes, used correctly, playing hard to get can be a powerful key in getting your ex back.
